Solution

A-PDF Scan Paper (free download here) povides comprehensive functionalities on PDF features.

You can add password security, extract text, change properties, send Email as attachment, also enables you to scan paper files to PDF format and rename them based on content.

Follow the below steps:

  1. Select a folder in default directory for saving scanned PDF files, you can change the Root path by "File\Options\Root path";
  2. Click the icon "Scan" to enter into the interface of creating PDF files, and then click "File->Scan->Scan Paper" to select an existing scanner to scan paper documents into PDF format;
  3. Click "Save to PDF" for outputting PDF in your defined folder, then choose it with previewing content;
  4. Input new name in "Raname as" and then click "Rename" icon to change name for your selected PDF file.
